2009 “中国印象”国庆60周年摄影展征集作品
In order to celebrate the 60th birthday of People’s Republic of China, CSSFA and Confucius Institute are organizing a photo contest featuring China theme. Submit photos from your China experience for a chance to win prizes and to have your pictures displayed at Talley Student Center!
Contestants:
Any NCSU students, faculty, staff
What to enter:
You may submit up to 2 photos per category that you took in China.
The photos should capture sights, people and cultural experiences about China.
Please submit high resolution unedited digital pictures (minimum size 1400X1050 or 300dpi).
Categories:
1） Natural and Urban Landscapes: （自然风景类）
Share with us the sights, natural wonders and unique architecture of places you visited!
2）
People and Culture: （人文类）
Show photos that capture the essence of Chinese people and culture
How to enter
Write a caption for your photos and email them to: chinancsu@gmail.com. Please indicate where they were taken. The subject of the email must contain "photo contest submission."
Entry deadline
Photos must be received by email no later than 5pm on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009.
Judging
Photos will be judged by a committee composed of professional photographers, and representatives of students, faculty and staff. Winners will be notified by email and announced on the website before Sept. 25.
Prizes
All pictures submitted will have a chance to be highlighted on the Confucius Institute website.
First place: 1 winner in each category (prize worth of $200)
Second place: 2 winners in each category (prize worth of $100)
Third place: 3 winners in each category (prize worth of $50)
Honor of Excellence: Anyone whose pictures are chosen for the show would receive a gift (about 20 winners in each category , gift worth of $5~$10)
Winners will receive a prize package from local donors, and the winning pictures will be displayed at Talley Student Center.
